Kiss the COOK
The Savage COOK
This beautiful little kilted bastard was commissioned as a gift from a client to his cook brother. The apron is thick and weathered pig leather and is adorned with lovely and quite sharp implements befitting a savage cook!
coming soon: those tiny little knives & how they came to be!

From the Vault
A while back a good friend asked for a toy for his nephew. He said the boy liked robots and fire fighters. What he got was a Robot Caterpillar Fire Fighter, complete with blinking light up tail, a bell and movable wings! Note the old green desk he's sitting on. Built by my Grandfather circa 1970, this desk is where Bearded Tales Of Woe was born.

A Belated Acknowledgement
Earlier this year, as is want to happen on this planet Bearded Tales Of Woe got it's very own tale of woe when my home and studio burned to a husk. I have lost much and there is much to say, but for today there will only be a nod and a glimpse.
An Iceberg tip of the dreadful tale.
First a THANK YOU! to MagPie the Wonderful Davis Square Oasis of Craft. This Store is Rad as are the people who work there.
Lastly a survivor of the disaster, sitting just as I left him while all around him his sisters and brothers fell dead. And my key squid, fused to the pole he clung to, forever as far as I'm concerned.
More to Come, Much Much More.
Monsters, Squids, Shipwrecks, Robots the Future & a Blast from the Past!

A few Custom Orders from earlier this year
A man in his underwear reading the news paper, a woman in a blue summer dress, a father holding his son upside down by the legs. Some things sound sweet or funny, those same things can be strangely creepy yet endearing when crab people are involved.
